Groundbreaking Ceremony for Hukou Factory Expansion Project of TTKK

Taiwan Tanaka Precious Metals Industries (Limited) has revealed its intention to expand its operations through the construction of a new facility. The company plans to invest approximately 3.5 billion Japanese yen (32 million USD) in the project, which is expected to be completed by the first half of 2025.

The new building will increase the floor area of the existing Hukou plant sixfold, featuring eight above-ground floors and one underground level. By expanding its recycling operations in Taiwan by 2026, the company aims to contribute to the stable supply of precious metal materials and make a significant impact on Taiwan’s semiconductor industry.
